Post Cereal is seeking individuals who can question the status quo and strive for superior solutions. Co-Op student(s) will be challenged with value added (capital) projects and interface with management and the workforce. This person(s) will be directly related to process improvement initiatives with large potential for cost savings.

In this role, the primary responsibilities are:
  • Managing/supporting minor capital projects that are CI driven (less than $100K)
  • Responsible for realization of productivity and cost savings
  • Develop strong technical network with local and client engineers, technicians, and plant maintenance.
  • Coordinate and/or execute specific skill training for management teams in cooperation with HR and CI Management.
  • Work closely with Operations Management, CI Management and Human Resources to establish a team culture on the production floor. Support team-building activities of process teams in cooperation with team lead/team developer.
  • Continuously challenge the status quo of day-today activities and processes. Identify best practices for the facility and Post Foods.

Job Qualifications

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Effective interpersonal skills and demonstrated leadership skills
  • Knowledge and/or experience in team based environments is preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to spend time in the plant with team members during all shifts is required.
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in a related field with a 3.0 GPA or higher
