Job Description
The Corporate Purchasing Department of Ralcorp Holdings, Inc. is seeking a motivated individual interested in a Purchasing career path to assist the Corporate Purchasing Department. Assignments will support current projects and initiatives of the Corporate Procurement function such as: purchasing processes, communications, spend data-mining, compliance to joint buying agreements, and indirect value proposition of leveraged buying. Specific duties may include:
- Document the current practice processes
- Perform spend data analysis.
- Gather data, analyze, and report findings.
- Prepare recommendations based on analysis and process improvement.

Job Qualifications

- Students must be currently enrolled in an accredited four year college or university and pursuing undergraduate or graduate studies with a specific focus in Supply Chain Management or related field.
- At a minimum, have successfully completed their third year of studies and have a designated status of no less than a Junior or Senior.
- Have a G.P.A. of 3.0 or higher.
- Desire career in Supply Chain or Procurement.
- Display strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Have the ability to work in a collaborative team environment or independently and be able to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Be available to start work in late May or early June and work a full-time 40 hour work week for a minimum of eight weeks.
- Possess general PC skills in a Windows environment and have strong Internet research skills.
- Be eligible to work in the U.S. for any company without sponsorship.
