Job Description

1. Responsible for the efficient operation of all production machinery, employee safety and training.
2. Responsible for isolating repetitive line problems, working with line supervisors, and department managers to come to a proper solution.
3. Responsible for proper use of JDE, work order system, PM’s, and PM development.
4. Responsible for keeping the shop and all maintenance areas audit ready at all times.
5. Lead projects involving the installation, modification, or renovation of facilities and equipment.
6. Lead efforts to upgrade facilities for efficiency, safety, and reliability (including roofs, parking lots, utilities, boilers, etc.)
7. Notifying the Maintenance Manager or Human Resources in a timely manner of all pertinent issues.
8. Assists Maintenance Manager in completing all goals assigned to Maintenance Department.
9. Must communicate and administer all Company policies and procedures consistently.
10. Provide coverage of Maintenance Supervisors in the event of an absence.

Job Qualifications

1. Minimum five years experience in food manufacturing environment
2. Strong leadership skills, previous maintenance supervision experience in manufacturing strongly preferred
3. Strong technical knowledge (machine tool, welding, pipefitting, facility, powerhouse, and other maintenance

Skills

4. Problem solving/decision making skills
5. Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
6. Familiarity with GMP, AIB, SQF, and safety regulations
