Job Description
The ideal candidate will be located in Northern or Southern California.
- Provide primary sales support for major retail customers and buying groups
- Proactively identify and analyze account opportunity/problems
- Develop solutions to build profitable volume and shares
- Manage and direct broker network to achieve objectives
- Penetrates key decision-makers to understand Account goals/strategies and work to build business and address/resolve issues.
- Effectively manages time to address top priorities and meet assigned due dates for status letters, expense reports and forecasting, etc.

Job Qualifications
|
- Bachelors’ Degree required, Business or related field preferred
- 5 years sales experience selling Private Label food or other consumer packaged goods categories in retail channels
- 2 years experience managing multiple broker networks
- Computer literate with strong analytical skills (excel, Word, Powerpoint)
- Excellent interpersonal, business communication, planning and organizational skills
- 30% - 40% travel is required
