Job Description
This position will provide the project management skills to lead capital execution and commercialization for the Jonesboro manufacturing facility as part of the Post Foods Network Engineering Team. The successful candidate will also provide technical and processing expertise to the Jonesboro facility; manage multi-million dollar capital projects by successfully delivering scope within budget and on schedule, act as project manager of several capital projects simultaneously, lead project final engineering, implementation and start-up teams.
He/She will develop scope, cost and schedule for assigned projects including but not limited to processing equipment, packaging equipment, buildings and utilities. The successful candidate must be able to write and submit Capital Appropriation Requests (CAR’s), lead project final engineering, implementation and start-up teams, work with Procurement on the bidding process and manage contractor installations. He/She will be required to provide accurate capital cash flow forecasts, maintain required project management documentation and files, develop accurate order of magnitude budgets and schedules for exploratory projects, and identify cost reduction opportunities and projects. The ability to provide leadership and support for sanitary design of equipment and buildings, fostering open communications and solicit cross-functional input is a must.

Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Agricultural, Bio-systems or Electrical Engineering.
- 10 plus years of project engineering experience managing capital projects for food manufacturing facilities is preferred.
- Knowledge of mechanical installations and electrical installations.
- Basic knowledge of PLC’s, electrical power and electrical controls.
- General knowledge of food processing and packaging equipment and conveying systems.
- Experience in plant facilities and utilities (HVAC, steam, air).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Project (AutoCAD experience a plus).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Must be a self starter and be able to work independently.
- Ability to work within a high performance work system.
- Ability to travel to provide project management support to other Ralcorp facilities as required. Estimated travel 10-30%.
