Job Description
The Senior Business Analyst Shopfloor/Inventory Serves as single point-of-contact for end users for specific module(s), functional and/or business area(s). Understands the business function and works with team to define business requirements. Communicates and coordinates with other Business Analysts, business leadership and IT leadership to ensure appropriate integration of processes and modules across Ralcorp. Supports Business community in their use of the JDE Manufacturing modules.
- Perform problem identification & resolution for issues related to specific module(s), functional and business area(s). Provide training to prevent problem reoccurrence and knowledge transfer. Escalate issues to management when appropriate.
- Collect, analyze, review, document and communicate business needs and requirements to IT. Translate high level business requirements into functional specifications and manage changes to such specifications.
- Serve as module expert during implementations of ERP software. Perform module configuration and testing following control guidelines
- Contribute to the overall planning and execution of projects and issue resolution including the development of approaches, identifying resources, and developing time lines.
- Involved in security/authorization set-up, user documentation, data interface design, data migration and reconciliation
- Assist IT management and end-users to determine feasibility of potential systems projects
- Perform special duties/functions which might be assigned by manager

Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and work in related area required.
- Must possess an understanding of the business function(s)/process(s) supported.
- 4 - 6 years experience in business area and 2 - 4 years supporting business applications within IT organization required.
- Excellent knowledge of systems project work and business functionality in ERP applications required.
- Experience with Shopfloor Systems Required (Workorders, Parts-Lists, Routings, Workcenters)
- Knowledge of business processes for Supply Chain Management
- Experience with Material/Inventory Systems required
- Experience utilizing JDE is required.
- Familiarity with other JDE modules is preferred
- Prior ERP project implementation experience desired
- Must have worked in environments using SDLC methodologies and standards.
- Experience in the Consumer Goods Industry is a plus
- Experience using MS Office
