Job Description
The National Accounts Director for Foodservice will be responsible for meeting the business initiatives for National Chain Accounts.
MAIN DUTIES:
- Develop and implement a business plan and partner with National Accounts to drive the business.
- Present value-added programs and solutions for National Account customers in order to increase base business.
- Grow profit and volume.
- Meet new business and product challenges.
- Financial Acumen
- P&L responsibility for designated National Account customers.
- Develop annual financial business plan using business planning system.
- Manage trade budget for designated National Account customers.
- Build and manage budget confines and T&E expenditures.
- Strategic Initiatives
- Form strategic business relationships with designated National Account customers.
- Work in harmony with National Account customers via business planning system to build business plans that meet volume, profit, and business growth objectives.
- Jointly manage business plan with customer.
- Manage and meet business objectives on introduction of new products into National Account customer enterprises.
- Business Collaboration
- Collaborate with Foodservice Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Research and Development, and Finance on product development and project management.
- Other duties/projects as assigned by supervisor.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong influence management skills.
- Superior organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrated history of strong decision making and problem solving skills.
- Computer literacy.

Job Qualifications
|
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree required; an MBA a plus.
EXPERIENCE: Five to ten years of progressive foodservice sales management experience.
