Job Description

KEY RESULT AREAS:

Responsible for the organization, scheduling, and direction of warehouse operations on first shift, employee training, safety, GMPs, and housekeeping.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Schedule warehouse personnel to ensure proper staffing in order to receive and ship products in a productive and cost efficient manner.
Oversee order accuracy, productivity levels, and general maintenance of the warehouse.
Review daily shipping and receiving schedules and plans and prioritize daily work schedule to meet customer and company delivery requirements.
Supervise warehouse personnel to ensure that Company policies and procedures are adhered to and issue disciplinary action as warranted.
Ensure that all warehouse operations are conducted in a safe manner and adhere to all corporate and divisional safety policies.
Maintain all warehouse standards including but not limited to AIB, OSHA, Sanitation, and Inventory control.
Administer the Error Program to ensure enforcement and accountability.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Any and all other duties as assigned.

Food Safety Production Areas

Notify Supervision of any repairs or adjustments that are required.
Understand, observe, and comply with the handling and usage of the color-coded container policy while in the Production Areas.
Perform all duties necessary to meet American Institute of Baking (AIB), Company, and or

INCUMBENT:

Inform Management of ANY Food Safety or Quality issues or of any processes, which become noncompliant with specified requirements.
Ability to initiate action to prevent the occurrence of nonconformities relating to Food Safety and the Quality of the product, processes, quality system, or safety system.
Identify and record any problems relating to Food Safety and the Quality of the ingredients, processes, quality system, or safety system.
Controls further processing or delivery of nonconforming product in terms of Food Safety and Quality issues until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.
Inform Management of ANY Food Safety or Quality issues or of any processes, which become noncompliant with specified requirements.
In the absence of immediate supervisor, will assume necessary operational and administrative duties.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Extensive walking.
Also bending, stooping, reaching, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Job Qualifications

College degree required. May substitute extensive experience for degree.
Five plus years of supervisory warehousing experience.
Computer, facilitation, teambuilding, and ability to manage multiple tasks on an ongoing basis.
