KEY RESULT AREAS: Management of warehouse, finished goods and packaging supplies. Responsible for coordination of third party warehouse. Responsible for shipping, receving, unitizer, incoming traffic.. Handling all aspects of finished product supply from the manufacturing process to the distribution network utilizeing both internal and external warehouse capacity. to maximize customer order fill rates and service. Management of incoming/outcoming carriers, facility transportion, railroad pumping process. Management of process flow including utilization of JDE.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1 Prepare budgets for the warehouse to ensure productivity and minimize cost.
2 Prepare capital justifications.
3 Follow up on production, QA and customer issues and concerns.
4 Manage supervisory and administrative personnel and oversee supervision of warehouse hourly personnel.
5 Support training initiatives.
6 Ability to coordinate with Sales, DRM, Production Management and hourly personnel.
7 Manage health and safety of all employees and incoming drivers/contractors on facility.
8 Support continuous improvement initiatives.
9 Conduct performance evaluations.
10 Conduct disciplinary follow-up as required

Responsible for management of product with offsite (third party) warehouse.
Food Safety Production Areas
- Notify Supervision of any repairs or adjustments that are required.
- Understand, observe, and comply with the handling and usage of the colorcoded container policy while in the Production Areas.
- Perform all duties necessary to meet all Company, Customer and Regulatory food safety requirements.
- Inform Management of ANY Food Safety or Quality issues or of any processes, which become noncompliant with specified requirements.
- Ability to initiate action to prevent the occurrence of nonconformities relating to Food Safety and the Quality of the product, processes, quality system, or safety system.
- Identify and record any problems relating to Food Safety and the Quality of the ingredients, processes, quality system, or safety system.
- Controls further processing or delivery of nonconforming product in terms of Food Safety and Quality issues until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.
- Inform Management of ANY Food Safety or Quality issues or of any processes, which become noncompliant with specified requirements.
- In the absence of immediate supervisor, will assume necessary operational and administrative duties.
SCOPE DATA:
- 3 Supervisors, clerical, admin employees and approx 50 hourly employees.
WORKING RELATIONSHIP:
Supervision given – Warehouse supervisors, warehouse, admin. clerical personnel. Supervision received – Director of Operations, Logistics Manager Contacts – Trucking companies, Railroad, Truck Drivers, Equipment repair personnel, CHC Divisional Logistics.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Periodic lifting of up to 25 lbs, pushing and pulling on occasion. Must be able to work frequently on a PC. Requires frequent typing and the ability to view the monitor a great deal of time. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, climbing, twisting in a plant environment.
