Job Description

**Position is open to location**
  • Day-to-day management and oversight of all assigned National Account customers, comprising Foodservice and Beverage activities.
  • Develop and execute account specific strategies to grow Carriage House/Beverage Specialty business at both the account and product category levels. Manage and develop programs to achieve case volume and dollar volume budgets.
  • Consistent time investment and professional relationship building with key National Account personnel including Buyer/ Merchandiser, Director/VP of Purchasing, Food and Beverage Managers, and Executive Chefs, to understand the customer’s objectives and strategies, and plan for the execution of Carriage House/Beverage Specialty initiatives.
  • Interact on a regular basis with all Foodservice and Beverage Regional Sales Managers in the day to day oversight of systems distributors that sell to and manage these accounts, as well as in resolving any deduction issues and customer claim investigations that may arise due to specific National Account pricing/programs.
  • Achievement of assigned case and dollar volume and ability to work with approved spending levels.
  • Identification of new prospects, projects, items, and opportunities on an ongoing basis.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned by the National Sales Director.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in the Foodservice and/or Beverage industry in a national account Sales Manager position. Minimum 3 years managing national accounts and headquarter accounts in the U.S. along with a proven record of key contact oversight.
  • Strong planning and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills both to customers and internal contacts.
  • Excellent ability to keep a large number of projects/tasks going concurrently.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience using Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Lotus Notes.
